Capacity Building & Life Skills

Capacity Building focuses on supporting people to develop the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to participate more independently in everyday life. At Repploy Counselling & ASD Services, we provide NDIS-funded capacity-building supports delivered through counselling, therapeutic guidance, and ASD-informed practice.

Our work supports individuals, families, and carers to build practical life skills, emotional regulation, and social understanding in a way that feels safe, respectful, and achievable.

Support is tailored to the individual, their goals, and their current capacity, and is commonly funded through NDIS Capacity Building supports for participants with autism and related needs.

Scope of Support

Repploy Counselling & ASD Services provides NDIS-funded capacity-building support delivered through counselling and therapeutic guidance. Our role is to support participants to:
- build insight and understanding
- develop practical strategies
- strengthen emotional regulation and social skills
- increase confidence in daily living and community participation
Support is provided through conversation, reflection, coaching, and guidance, rather than hands-on skills training. We do not provide clinical therapy, allied health treatment, behaviour support programs, or formal skills training where registration or specialist intervention is required. Where appropriate, we work alongside families, support coordinators, and other providers to ensure supports remain coordinated and ethical.
